"I knew you were trouble" Parody Video clip

Most of you have watched Taylor Swift’s “I knew you were trouble” music video. OMG, can you believe how long the monologue was?

“I think--I think when it's all over,
It just comes back in flashes, you know?
It's like a kaleidoscope of memories.
It just all comes back. But he never does.
I think part of me knew the second I saw him that this would happen.
It's not really anything he said or anything he did,
It was the feeling that came along with it.
And the crazy thing is I don't know if I'm ever gonna feel that way again.
But I don't know if I should.
I knew his world moved too fast and burned too bright.
But I just thought, how can the devil be pulling you toward someone who looks so much like an angel when he smiles at you?
Maybe he knew that when he saw me.
I guess I just lost my balance.
I think that the worst part of it all wasn't losing him.
It was losing me.”

When the song came, it was already 2:04! Prologues and monologues are cool but you gotta know when to stop.
The video clip below is a hilarious parody of “I knew you were trouble”. It's got over a million views in just one week! There are over ten parodies of this song if you're in the mood. (For the record, I don’t hate Taylor Swift. I like her and her music as well. This clip is a little funny and I like funny stuff so sue me!)

(I was just kidding...don't sue me. JK,JK... )

"Amour" film review

When Anne suffered probably her first stroke, it was new territory for both Georges and her. Their journey was portrayed grievously brilliant by Director Michael Haneke.
Emmanuelle Riva suited the Anne character very well. The way the couple greeted Anne's former student graciously for the first time after her hospitalization was both formidable and wistful. Jean-Louis Trintignant was the perfect Georges. The scene where he had to fire the second nurse for mistreating Anne was very heartfelt and I praise both Jean-Louis and Screenwriter/Director for it.
I can't say I was prepared for the ending; it was not unexpected but it did give me a small shock. I felt suffocated and paralyzed throughout the entire film. I felt pain, sorrow, shame, fear, and then pain again. "Amour" earned the five stars from every critic's review, the awards, and the Oscar. In essence, this film depicts the emotions intelligently but I will admit that I cannot bear to watch it again.

Madness—It’s not stupid.

Everyone has a madness. This is a list of mine.

No matter how much I shop, I can never find a nice outfit in my closet. (Okay, this one’s a cliché but it’s true.)

My favorite sweater is the one I took from my grandma’s closet.

When I wear both perfume and body butter, I can only smell the scent of body butter.

I’m pretty sure the world isn't going to end within the coming millennium. Even if it did, I have a strong feeling that I’d be spared.

I sleep so I don’t have to eat. It’s my best dieting technique.

I’m not sure if I’m really mature or just really naïve.

When all fingers are on me, I have a strong desire to cut them off.

I smile and laugh too much that I have wrinkles too young.

I love earrings but I never put them on because I think they make me look like a drag queen.

I have been writing a vampire book for eight months. I’m pretty sure it’s going to finish in ten to fifteen years. (Hey, the first Harry Potter took 6 years to finish, right? J.K kept hesitating on the first chapter, whether it should be the conversation between Dumbledore and McGonagall or the meeting between The British Prime Minister and Fudge. So I’m taking as much time as I need.)

I’m okay with bumps and bruises along the way. It’s not like I’m titanium; I can always get a little bit tougher.

I own a pair of fake Dr. Dre’s Monster headphones that I use every day. They’re usable.

Jobs and college majors don’t tell me much about the kind of person someone is.

I don’t put much effort into my lies. I want the truth to come out one day. (Maybe I’m just saying that because I’m not a very good liar or maybe I’m a very good liar and I just want to make you a little startled with this post.)

This should give you an idea about me.
Everyone has a madness. Care to share yours?

From "Writing Vampires" to "Tunes to Love"

Hey guys,

This blog used to be "http://writingvampires.blogspot.com" but as I have already mentioned in my previous post, the vampire book I'm working on still has a long way to go. I need to go to places and learn more about some stuff.

Since I'm mostly posting my favorite songs anyway, I changed the blog's name to "http://tunestolove.blogspot.com". I hope you will still come visit.

A special shout out to the readers from Germany; I mean it’s not like I post any german songs—german is too complex a language for me to dabble in— but still, Germany comes in third in my audience statistics so Vienlen Dank! Of course, triple thanks to readers from the States and my home country. You rock as hard as your favorite rock band. Continue tuning in please.

I repeat. http://writingvampires.blogspot is no more! Whoa, that sounded funny and creepy. Let me try again. My blog name writingvampires.blogspot.com has been changed to tunestolove.blogspot.com.

"Kill me"- The Pretty Reckless

You know I like “The Pretty Reckless” and Taylor Momsen’s crazy hardcore vocals. I even ‘liked’ the band’s facebook page when its profile picture finally changed from Momsen’s naked picture to something with more clothes on.
So this is their latest song, “Kill Me”.

All in my head- Tori Kelly

I found out about Tori from Ron Pope (singer of “A Drop in the ocean”) who updated his facebook status to “I cannot believe the voice on this girl...Tori Kelly...holy shit. The vocal on the last chorus of this is full on ridiculous" with a youtube link to Tori's "All in my head" live acoustic video.
For those of you who don’t know, Tori Kelly is a singer/songwriter from Southern California. She released her first album “Handmade songs by Tori Kelly” from her bedroom! Her intro line on her youtube channel is “hi i'm tori. i make music & stuff.” Her talents and amazing vocal cords have earned her 308,328 subscribers and a total of 31,153,189 video views. At the moment, she is preparing for her “Fill a Heart” US tour.
