Changing the blog name: My mistake on naming this blog “Writing Vampires”

When I created this blog, I had just begun writing the perfect vampire book. Perfect in the sense of something everyone wants to become. There’s always such a character in quite a number of popular books: a rich spoiled girl, a rich sad orphan, a rich sad vampire, dot dot dot. Write a story of a group of rich people getting whatever it wants except for that one special girl/boy and bam! You got yourself a book teens would consider buying and a chance to become a best-seller author.

I was finishing chapter after chapter. I’m still writing whenever I have free time. It has become a hobby actually. I had never tried to write such a big story before and I actually enjoy making plots and characters. I honestly don’t know when it will be finished. I want my facts to be precise. I don’t want to create yet another Forks or Fell’s Church or Mystic Falls or Wisteria Lane, but on the other hand, I’ve never been to the places my characters reside in. Thus, I find trouble to get details on the places my characters locate themselves with the only help from my fellow internet surfers.

I created this blog to post the chapters of my book. Then I found a lot of fun in posting my favorite songs. Plus, I keep editing my book every now and then so I don’t think it will be finished in the near future. Hey, the first Harry Potter took 6 years to get published, right? J.K kept hesitating on the first chapter, whether it should be the conversation between Dumbledore and McGonagall or the meeting between The British Prime Minister and Fudge. So I’m taking as much time as I’d like to finish my perfect vampire book.

Therefore, I admit that I was a little fast in choosing a blog name and I would like to let all my readers know that I am going to change it in about four months (don't ask). I’m going to keep writing but just like right now, my work is not going to be posted anywhere on the web until I’m 95% satisfied with it. So it'll be just the same. I'll keep posting songs I like that everyone needs to know right now and you'll keep listening. So please look forward to those songs!

"Troublemaker"- Hottie Olly feat Flo Rida

Olly Murs is one of the singers that you gotta know. His third and latest studio album, "Right Place Right Time", was released on on November 26. 2012 in which "Troublemaker" is the lead song. It debuted Numero Uno on the UK charts in December 2012!
One word: "AMAZING!"
You gotta hear it to know it. It's an amazing song.
If that's not enough to make you listen, then he's British.
If that's still not enough, just look at the pic below. Yep, that's Hottie...uh, I mean Olly.

This is my last post for "Unbroken" week. The rest of the songs that I haven't posted yet can be listened below. I just wish they will go up the billboards before her next album, which Demi is working on right now, comes out this year. Ahh! I can't wait.
As a littel bonas, I'll let you download the two bonas tracks, "Yes I am" and "Aftershock."

(Clears throat twice +cough) Yeah...me neither.

Anyways, "Thrift Shop" is my currently favorite song. It's the first indie song to top the charts in almost two DECADES so congratulations, Macklemore! It's so funny as well and I keep replaying it. Enjoy! Hope you like it as much as I do.

A couple of demos of "Dirty Diary" (Jena Lee+Gia Martinelli)

I hope you remember, "Dirty Diary" is a girl band, composed of two french singers, Jena Lee and Gia Martinelli.
The song I uploaded a few days ago, "Tu Pardonneras" by Rohff feat. Jena Lee got a significant amount of viewers but I'm not really sure what you guys dig, Rohff or Jena. So now I'm posting a couple demos I've got of "Dirty Diary". Hope you like'em!

"Love Undead Girl" L.U.G- Dirty Diary

"Take me as I 'Aime' "- Dirty Diary---(You'll love the french accent.)

"You're my only shorty"- Demi Lovato ft Iyaz

Yes, I'm a shorty as well so what's not to like about this song? Demi got a lot of features in "Unbroken", some of whom are almost impossible to get!
In "You're my only shorty", Iyaz performs as her duet partner. This song goes out to all the shorties in the world, and all the girls who think they are shorties but are actually not. Hmm...I'm out of words, so that's it! Enjoy!

Together- Demi Lovato Ft. Jason DeRulo

As promised, another song from "Unbroken", a duet between Demi Lovato and Jason Derülo  titled "Together." Demi had the chance to record the song with Jason since he was luckily back in Miami to visit his grandfather. The two singers knocked it out at the studio from 3am to 9am but it was worth it because a great song came out of their efforts.

Lightweight, My Love is like a Star- Demi Lovato

Sure, “Skyscraper” and “Give your heart a break” got a pretty good reception but what about her other great songs from her latest album “Unbroken”? This time, I’m not waiting for the billboard charts’ response.
I mean, if you guys own her album, you’d hear what I’m talking about through Demi’s voice. I’ve uploaded 2 of my favorites in the said album below, “Lightweight” and “My Love is like a Star”. They’re just waiting to go up the charts but people gotta listen to them. Remember: Good art deserves to be discovered.
I’m going to upload every single one of her singles in the album “Unbroken” before the end of this week, so please look forward to them.

A drop in the ocean- Ron Pope+ A drop in the ocean- Eminem

Did I ever tell you how TVD always introduces me to great music?
I am talking about a drop in the ocean and a change in the weather. Want to what I’m talking about? Then hit play below. Wait…arr…I can’t let you listen to a song without telling you all about it, can I? Besides there are two songs below and I won’t let you get lost. I care too much.
Okay, the first song is “A drop in the ocean” by Ron Pope, who is the original singer. I heard it in TVD season-3. Eminem heard the song when he was thinking about pulling a Justin Bieber (who is the protégé of Carly Rae Jepsen) and he thought “Hey, this is going to be my new hit!” So he called Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa, and said, “I’ve got a motherf*cking song right here, man! You ready for this sh*t??” or something like that. I don’t know if he curses as frequently in real life as in his songs. So after Kanye and Wiz said “This sh*t is gooooooood”, he called Ron Pope and said, “New guy, wanna party with us?” to which Ron Pope replied “Hell, yeah!” and all of them recorded the second song, “A drop in the ocean” mix.
P.S. I made up all of that conversation in the previous paragraph. I don’t know how Eminem, Kanye West, Wiz Khalifa and Ron Pope came to record “A drop in the ocean” mix together.

Tu Pardonneras- Rohff ft. Jena Lee

Okayyy…Time to make a new post. Here comes Jenaaaaaaaaaa!
Jena Lee is a French r&b/emo-combination singer. She made a break with her first single, “J’aimerais tellement”. She had recently formed a duo girl band called “Dirty Diary” with her new bestie, Gia. It’s actually very interesting how she made it, her story, dot dot dot but you can just read it on Wikipedia so I’m not going to blabber here.
I would upload the newest single of “Dirty Diary” if I had the song but I don’t, so I’m just going to upload one of my favorite French rap songs, “Tu pardonneras” (meaning “You will forgive”, cool right?) by Rohff feat. Jena Lee. Hmm….maybe I should have written about Rohff first.
Rohff is a very cool French rapper. I love his raps especially "La puissance" meaning "The Power". He’s a good friend of French footballer Karim Benzema; maybe you know Karim. Yeah, I don’t though. Not a football fan.
Anyways, I realize I haven’t uploaded any rap song before so if I’m going to post one, I might as well start with a French rap song. French rap and Spanish rap rule!

ALi- "Hurt"

If you've never tried any music out of your own language and country, you are missing out big time, Mister.
“Hurt” is a Korean song. I heard it in a Korean TV series, a rom-com, called “Rooftop Prince”. The artist is Ali, real name Jo Young Jin, who is known for her strong vocals. She symbolizes her stage name as “ALi”. Having worked as a professor in applied musical arts at the Seoul Technical Arts College, she is different from many other Korean singers.
I’m not Korean and I understand little Korean but I love this song. You don’t have to know the language to feel the pain. Give it a try; you’ll thank me afterwards. Remember that good music exists all around the world. Maybe next time, I’ll stream one of my favorite French songs, that is, if this post gets a good number of viewers.
