3 songs from Demi Lovato’s “Demi”
“Neon Lights”, “Really don’t care”, and “Warrior”, fresh from Demi’s Demi. Who’s crazed?
I think they’re THE songs everyone wants to get their hands on right now. (I, myself, enjoyed each and every one of her singles, including the bonus track, “I hate you, don’t leave me”.) Kick back your heels and relax to watch at least 2 singles climb their way up the charts (esp. the billboard!)

"I knew you were trouble" Parody Video clip
Most of you have watched Taylor Swift’s “I knew you were trouble” music video. OMG, can you believe how long the monologue was?
“I think--I think when it's all over,
It just comes back in flashes, you know?
It's like a kaleidoscope of memories.
It just all comes back. But he never does.
I think part of me knew the second I saw him that this would happen.
It's not really anything he said or anything he did,
It was the feeling that came along with it.
And the crazy thing is I don't know if I'm ever gonna feel that way again.
But I don't know if I should.
I knew his world moved too fast and burned too bright.
But I just thought, how can the devil be pulling you toward someone who looks so much like an angel when he smiles at you?
Maybe he knew that when he saw me.
I guess I just lost my balance.
I think that the worst part of it all wasn't losing him.
It was losing me.”
When the song came, it was already 2:04! Prologues and monologues are cool but you gotta know when to stop.
The video clip below is a hilarious parody of “I knew you were trouble”. It's got over a million views in just one week! There are over ten parodies of this song if you're in the mood. (For the record, I don’t hate Taylor Swift. I like her and her music as well. This clip is a little funny and I like funny stuff so sue me!)
(I was just kidding...don't sue me. JK,JK... )

"Amour" film review
When Anne suffered probably her first stroke, it was new territory for both Georges and her. Their journey was portrayed grievously brilliant by Director Michael Haneke.
Emmanuelle Riva suited the Anne character very well. The way the couple greeted Anne's former student graciously for the first time after her hospitalization was both formidable and wistful. Jean-Louis Trintignant was the perfect Georges. The scene where he had to fire the second nurse for mistreating Anne was very heartfelt and I praise both Jean-Louis and Screenwriter/Director for it.
I can't say I was prepared for the ending; it was not unexpected but it did give me a small shock. I felt suffocated and paralyzed throughout the entire film. I felt pain, sorrow, shame, fear, and then pain again. "Amour" earned the five stars from every critic's review, the awards, and the Oscar. In essence, this film depicts the emotions intelligently but I will admit that I cannot bear to watch it again.

Madness—It’s not stupid.
Everyone has a madness. This is a list of mine.
No matter how much I shop, I can never find a nice outfit in
my closet. (Okay, this one’s a cliché but it’s true.)
My favorite sweater is the one I took from my grandma’s
closet.
When I wear both perfume and body butter, I can only smell
the scent of body butter.
I’m pretty sure the world isn't going to end within the
coming millennium. Even if it did, I have a strong feeling that I’d be spared.
I sleep so I don’t have to eat. It’s my best dieting
technique.
I’m not sure if I’m really mature or just really naïve.
When all fingers are on me, I have a strong desire to cut
them off.
I smile and laugh too much that I have wrinkles too young.
I love earrings but I never put them on because I think they
make me look like a drag queen.
I have been writing a vampire book for eight months. I’m
pretty sure it’s going to finish in ten to fifteen years. (Hey, the first Harry
Potter took 6 years to finish, right? J.K kept hesitating on the first chapter,
whether it should be the conversation between Dumbledore and McGonagall or the
meeting between The British Prime Minister and Fudge. So I’m taking as much
time as I need.)
I’m okay with bumps and bruises along the way. It’s not like
I’m titanium; I can always get a little bit tougher.
I own a pair of fake Dr. Dre’s Monster headphones that I use
every day. They’re usable.
Jobs and college majors don’t tell me much about the kind of
person someone is.
I don’t put much effort into my lies. I want the truth to
come out one day. (Maybe I’m just saying that because I’m not a very good liar
or maybe I’m a very good liar and I just want to make you a little startled
with this post.)
This should give you an idea about me.
Everyone has a madness. Care to share yours?

From "Writing Vampires" to "Tunes to Love"
Hey guys,
This blog used to be "http://writingvampires.blogspot.com" but as I have already mentioned in my previous post, the vampire book I'm working on still has a long way to go. I need to go to places and learn more about some stuff.
Since I'm mostly posting my favorite songs anyway, I changed the blog's name to "http://tunestolove.blogspot.com". I hope you will still come visit.
A special shout out to the readers from Germany; I mean it’s not like I post any german songs—german is too complex a language for me to dabble in— but still, Germany comes in third in my audience statistics so Vienlen Dank! Of course, triple thanks to readers from the States and my home country. You rock as hard as your favorite rock band. Continue tuning in please.
I repeat. http://writingvampires.blogspot is no more! Whoa, that sounded funny and creepy. Let me try again. My blog name writingvampires.blogspot.com has been changed to tunestolove.blogspot.com.

"Kill me"- The Pretty Reckless
You know I like “The Pretty Reckless” and Taylor Momsen’s crazy hardcore vocals. I even ‘liked’ the band’s facebook page when its profile picture finally changed from Momsen’s naked picture to something with more clothes on.
So this is their latest song, “Kill Me”.

All in my head- Tori Kelly
I found out about Tori from Ron Pope (singer of “A Drop in the ocean”) who updated his facebook status to “I cannot believe the voice on this girl...Tori Kelly...holy shit. The vocal on the last chorus of this is full on ridiculous" with a youtube link to Tori's "All in my head" live acoustic video.
For those of you who don’t know, Tori Kelly is a singer/songwriter from Southern California. She released her first album “Handmade songs by Tori Kelly” from her bedroom! Her intro line on her youtube channel is “hi i'm tori. i make music & stuff.” Her talents and amazing vocal cords have earned her 308,328 subscribers and a total of 31,153,189 video views. At the moment, she is preparing for her “Fill a Heart” US tour.

C'mon- Ke$ha
I’ve been a fan of Ke$ha before “Tik-tok” appeared anywhere on the charts. She’s got the voice, she's got the style and she’s got a story, which you can read in Wikipedia so I won’t be getting on that.
Her latest single, “C’mon” is almost as rad as the blue BMW motorcycle (model S 1000 RR) she rides in the “C’mon” MTV . "C'mon" is from her latest album, “Warrior”.
That is one cool bike... Anyway, enjoy the song!
Thrift Shop- Macklemore and Ryan Lewis ft Wanz
I've posted "Thrift Shop" a while ago but I have to make sure you guys see this MTV. It's supercalifragilistic-expialidocious (hey, i finally spelled it right!)
"Clarity"- Zedd ft Foxes
Zedd is a Russian-German music producer and DJ. He began producing electronic music in 2009. He’s produced remixes to famous artists such as The Black Eyed Peas, Lady Gaga, Skillex and more. His first debut single, “Spectrum”, was released in 2012 with vocals by Matthew Koma. He’s currently working on Lady Gaga’s “Artpop” album.
You can listen to his songs on his official soundcloud page, https://soundcloud.com/zedd
“Clarity” is the cover song of his latest album, “Clarity”, featuring Foxes.

Changing the blog name: My mistake on naming this blog “Writing Vampires”
When I created this blog, I had just begun writing the
perfect vampire book. Perfect in the sense of something everyone wants to
become. There’s always such a character in quite a number of popular books: a
rich spoiled girl, a rich sad orphan, a rich sad vampire, dot dot dot. Write a
story of a group of rich people getting whatever it wants except for that one
special girl/boy and bam! You got yourself a book teens would consider buying
and a chance to become a best-seller author.
I was finishing chapter after chapter. I’m still writing
whenever I have free time. It has become a hobby actually. I had never tried to
write such a big story before and I actually enjoy making plots and characters.
I honestly don’t know when it will be finished. I want my facts to be precise.
I don’t want to create yet another Forks or Fell’s Church or Mystic Falls or
Wisteria Lane, but on the other hand, I’ve never been to the places my
characters reside in. Thus, I find trouble to get details on the places my
characters locate themselves with the only help from my fellow internet surfers.
I created this blog to post the chapters of my book. Then I
found a lot of fun in posting my favorite songs. Plus, I keep editing my book
every now and then so I don’t think it will be finished in the near future.
Hey, the first Harry Potter took 6 years to get published, right? J.K kept
hesitating on the first chapter, whether it should be the conversation between
Dumbledore and McGonagall or the meeting between The British Prime Minister and
Fudge. So I’m taking as much time as I’d like to finish my perfect vampire
book.
Therefore, I admit that I was a little fast in choosing a
blog name and I would like to let all my readers know that I am going to change
it in about four months (don't ask). I’m going to keep writing but just like right now, my
work is not going to be posted anywhere on the web until I’m 95% satisfied with
it. So it'll be just the same. I'll keep posting songs I like that everyone
needs to know right now and you'll keep listening. So please look forward to
those songs!

"Troublemaker"- Hottie Olly feat Flo Rida
Olly Murs is one of the singers that you gotta know. His third and latest studio album, "Right Place Right Time", was released on on November 26. 2012 in which "Troublemaker" is the lead song. It debuted Numero Uno on the UK charts in December 2012!
One word: "AMAZING!"
You gotta hear it to know it. It's an amazing song.
If that's not enough to make you listen, then he's British.
If that's still not enough, just look at the pic below. Yep, that's Hottie...uh, I mean Olly.
5 songs from "Unbroken" including the BONAS TRACKS!!
This is my last post for "Unbroken" week. The rest of the songs that I haven't posted yet can be listened below. I just wish they will go up the billboards before her next album, which Demi is working on right now, comes out this year. Ahh! I can't wait.

"Thrift Shop"- Macklemore (feat. Wanz)
Who's broke TODAY??? Anyone? No one?
(Clears throat twice +cough) Yeah...me neither.
Anyways, "Thrift Shop" is my currently favorite song. It's the first indie song to top the charts in almost two DECADES so congratulations, Macklemore! It's so funny as well and I keep replaying it. Enjoy! Hope you like it as much as I do.

A couple of demos of "Dirty Diary" (Jena Lee+Gia Martinelli)
I hope you remember, "Dirty Diary" is a girl band, composed of two french singers, Jena Lee and Gia Martinelli.
The song I uploaded a few days ago, "Tu Pardonneras" by Rohff feat. Jena Lee got a significant amount of viewers but I'm not really sure what you guys dig, Rohff or Jena. So now I'm posting a couple demos I've got of "Dirty Diary". Hope you like'em!
"Love Undead Girl" L.U.G- Dirty Diary
"Take me as I 'Aime' "- Dirty Diary---(You'll love the french accent.)
3 R&B tracks from Unbroken!!!
One song for yesterday, one song for today, plus a bonus track, BAM!
First one is the first track from the album “Unbroken”, titled “All Night Long” performed by Demi Lovato, featuring Missy Elliott and Timbaland.

"You're my only shorty"- Demi Lovato ft Iyaz
Yes, I'm a shorty as well so what's not to like about this song? Demi got a lot of features in "Unbroken", some of whom are almost impossible to get!
In "You're my only shorty", Iyaz performs as her duet partner. This song goes out to all the shorties in the world, and all the girls who think they are shorties but are actually not. Hmm...I'm out of words, so that's it! Enjoy!

Together- Demi Lovato Ft. Jason DeRulo
As promised, another song from "Unbroken", a duet between Demi Lovato and Jason Derülo titled "Together." Demi had the chance to record the song with Jason since he was luckily back in Miami to visit his grandfather. The two singers knocked it out at the studio from 3am to 9am but it was worth it because a great song came out of their efforts.

Lightweight, My Love is like a Star- Demi Lovato
Sure, “Skyscraper” and “Give your heart a break” got a pretty good reception but what about her other great songs from her latest album “Unbroken”? This time, I’m not waiting for the billboard charts’ response.
I mean, if you guys own her album, you’d hear what I’m talking about through Demi’s voice. I’ve uploaded 2 of my favorites in the said album below, “Lightweight” and “My Love is like a Star”. They’re just waiting to go up the charts but people gotta listen to them. Remember: Good art deserves to be discovered.
I’m going to upload every single one of her singles in the album “Unbroken” before the end of this week, so please look forward to them.

My Love is like a Star- Demi Lovato
A drop in the ocean- Ron Pope+ A drop in the ocean- Eminem
Did I ever tell you how TVD always introduces me to great music?
I am talking about a drop in the ocean and a change in the weather. Want to what I’m talking about? Then hit play below. Wait…arr…I can’t let you listen to a song without telling you all about it, can I? Besides there are two songs below and I won’t let you get lost. I care too much.
Okay, the first song is “A drop in the ocean” by Ron Pope, who is the original singer. I heard it in TVD season-3. Eminem heard the song when he was thinking about pulling a Justin Bieber (who is the protégé of Carly Rae Jepsen) and he thought “Hey, this is going to be my new hit!” So he called Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa, and said, “I’ve got a motherf*cking song right here, man! You ready for this sh*t??” or something like that. I don’t know if he curses as frequently in real life as in his songs. So after Kanye and Wiz said “This sh*t is gooooooood”, he called Ron Pope and said, “New guy, wanna party with us?” to which Ron Pope replied “Hell, yeah!” and all of them recorded the second song, “A drop in the ocean” mix.
P.S. I made up all of that conversation in the previous paragraph. I don’t know how Eminem, Kanye West, Wiz Khalifa and Ron Pope came to record “A drop in the ocean” mix together.

Tu Pardonneras- Rohff ft. Jena Lee
Okayyy…Time to make a new post. Here comes Jenaaaaaaaaaa!
Jena Lee is a French r&b/emo-combination singer. She made a break with her first single, “J’aimerais tellement”. She had recently formed a duo girl band called “Dirty Diary” with her new bestie, Gia. It’s actually very interesting how she made it, her story, dot dot dot but you can just read it on Wikipedia so I’m not going to blabber here.
I would upload the newest single of “Dirty Diary” if I had the song but I don’t, so I’m just going to upload one of my favorite French rap songs, “Tu pardonneras” (meaning “You will forgive”, cool right?) by Rohff feat. Jena Lee. Hmm….maybe I should have written about Rohff first.
Rohff is a very cool French rapper. I love his raps especially "La puissance" meaning "The Power". He’s a good friend of French footballer Karim Benzema; maybe you know Karim. Yeah, I don’t though. Not a football fan.
Anyways, I realize I haven’t uploaded any rap song before so if I’m going to post one, I might as well start with a French rap song. French rap and Spanish rap rule!

ALi- "Hurt"
If you've never tried any music out of your own language and country, you are missing out big time, Mister.
“Hurt” is a Korean song. I heard it in a Korean TV series, a rom-com, called “Rooftop Prince”. The artist is Ali, real name Jo Young Jin, who is known for her strong vocals. She symbolizes her stage name as “ALi”. Having worked as a professor in applied musical arts at the Seoul Technical Arts College, she is different from many other Korean singers.
I’m not Korean and I understand little Korean but I love this song. You don’t have to know the language to feel the pain. Give it a try; you’ll thank me afterwards. Remember that good music exists all around the world. Maybe next time, I’ll stream one of my favorite French songs, that is, if this post gets a good number of viewers.
